|Title:||Attracting Birds to Your Back Yard|
The benefits of backyard birding include great entertainment and a connection to nature, all from the comfort of home. By providing food, water and shelter, you can easily attract a wide variety of birds, including woodpeckers, finches, bluebirds, hummingbirds, orioles and so many more. Join naturalist Wendy Jones as she walks you through how to make your yard more bird-friendly and how to identify the birds that come into your yard, and shares fascinating information about their lives. Now is the time to get ready for bird season ahead!
Presenter: Wendy Jones, the Chickadee Naturalist, has lived in the Michiana area since 1991 and worked at Fernwood Botanical Gardens and Nature Preserve until summer 2020. She has a true naturalist's base of knowledge about a wide variety of environmental topics.
