The Harbor Country Film Group with Eve Moran presents The Light of Truth: Richard Hunt’s Monument to Ida B. Wells, a feature documentary exploring the life and work of renowned sculptor Richard Hunt and civil rights journalist, suffragist, and anti-lynching activist Ida B. Wells.

The film follows Hunt’s creative process as he designs and builds the Light of Truth monument for Chicago’s Bronzeville community at the former site of the Ida B. Wells Homes. Through art and history, the documentary examines how both Hunt and Wells confronted injustice and used their work to inspire social change.
